Y'all, I haven't been this excited to share a gallery of images in a long time! This shoot is my love letter to the 80s, to dark arcades filled with flashing lights, to fights over who go to play the NES, and all of the amazing video game madness of my childhood. Now...can someone lend me a quarter? I want to try to beat my high score!

I love when ideas like this come together! I found this bootleg, obviously-not-licensed "Pacman" dress on Amazon from a seller that is no longer around, and I just had to have it! I used fabric markers to add lipstick and to block out the weird ears they had put on the "not ghosts," and even added hair bows to make Ms. Pacman! Then I found the silver holographic fabric and I knew that it would be the perfect complement.
Other the last couple of years, I've been getting into colorful foundations; my yellow foundation comparison between Indi beat Cosmetics and Sunset Makeup is still the most viewed video on my channel! When I saw that, I knew I could push this look even further: rather than shooting a Ms. Pacman-themed look, why not transform myself into Ms. Pacman!
I wanted the overall vibe to be very 80s, very neon, and I knew that I had to include the iconic fruit that Ms. Pacman munches on to add to her high score! And when I started finding mirrored fruits, I added in my large assortment of random mirror balls as well!

And what would the 80s be without cassette tapes and NES cartridges?! These are all from mine and Angie's personal collections, and are some of my favorites! The cassettes are all from Jem dolls that I purchased on Ebay and then tore into like an animal!
I imagined Ms. Pacman as a divorcee finally out living her best life (#RelatableContent), eating all the fruits and power pills she wants and not having to answer to no man!
But that doesn't mean she doesn't get lonely sometimes! be on the lookout for Part Two of this series: Ms. Pacman and her men!
