Be careful - this latest collection of images just might give you a toothache!

This past July, I took my annual trip to Grandpa's Poolhouse in Stanchfield MN to shoot with Brooklyn Ewing of Dirt Candy Productions. Not only did we capture some amazing shots (including this gorgeous candy-themed gallery), but Brooklyn and her longtime fella, Jerry of the band Truckstop, got hitched - and your girl got to perform the ceremony!
Definitely a sweet trip all around!
I am such a prop queen, and I had been collection all of my candy props since the previous December when I found those sprinkled sucker/cake pop decorations at HomeGoods! An idea was born, and I couldn't be more thrilled with how it all came out!

Since the look was so pink and girly, you know I had to get my favorite vintage divas involved in the action: Barbie and Jem! The Barbie is a vintage Classique Collection doll from the 90s designed by Kitty Black Perkins (creator of the first Black Barbie), and the Jem is a new creation from The Loyal Subjects (the Holograms and Glitter & Gold Jem should be shipping to me in February!).
I am so in love with these photos - but then, I'm in love with EVERYTHING that Brooklyn does! We created some real magic on this shoot! Be on the lookout for a special Galentines gallery coming out on Valentines Day, as well as the other looks that we shot on this trip. So much goodness is coming your way!
