Remember the Before Times? One of the last things that I did before the Pandemonium kicked off in March 2020 was attend the Atlanta Days of the Dead Convention, something I had been doing once or twice a year since 2016. During those years, I was able to visit Indianapolis, Atlanta, and Charlotte, and meet some fantastic actors and performers from some of my favorite horror films, tv shows, and other pop culture moments.
Indianapolis 2016 - Where it all began!

Halloween (Rob Zombie) Cast
Shawnee Smith, Bill Moseley as Otis Driftwood, Cobra Kai, Jon Heder, and Children of the Corn.

Atlanta 2017
This is why you don't look for a babysitter on CraigsList...

Stranger Things
Three Jasons, CJ Graham as Part 6 Jason, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 Cast
On all of my trips, the only negative experience I had was with Ric Flair. It's a long story that maybe I'll put in a video someday, but he made it clear he wasn't that enthused about posing with a big drag queen. Lemons? Make lemonade! I popped my hip to the side posing with the DOTD Wrestling Belt and got a great photo that I could crop to forget that he was even there!

Linda Blair
Indianapolis 2017

Did I take a throuple prom photo with Matthew Lillard and Felissa Rose? I sure did!
CJ Graham (Part 6) and Steve Dash (Part 2) as Jason.
More Matthew Lillard and Felissa Rose!

Haruo Nakajima who played Godzilla in many of the classic movies. This was one of his last (maybe the very last?) event that he did before he died in August 2017. He was a very sweet man when I met him and gave me a lovely complement through his translator.
Sometimes I take photos with wrestlers, I guess? Sting and Lita. The photo with Lita where I'm wearing the fireworks dress is cropped - I took the photo with a friend, and I want to protect their privacy.
Linda Blair, Dawn of the Dead Cast, Dee Snyder.
Those are all of the pro photo ops from the three events that I attended in 2016 and 2017! Check back here next week when I'll have the photos from 2018, and at least one of the events from 2019 (I need to do a little searching to find Indianapolis - it wasn't on this drive!).
XOXO -
